"Deus Não Quis" won FICA 2009 BIG PRIZE


FICA 2009 - Short Film Competition finished, with the announcement and projection of the winning films, and with great recognition of the Portuguese Cinema. The film "DEUS NÃO QUIS" directed by the Portuguese ANTÓNIO FERREIRA, a fiction with 15', was the great winner of the edition of this year when collecting the prize for the “Best Portuguese Film” and simultaneously the “Big Prize  Cidade de Portimão"” of the Festival.
In a first balance and informal meeting with the media, the director of the festival esteem that have attended the festival, more than 31,000 spectators. FICA 2009 is the oldest and decentralized cinema festival in Portugal. The “strategical heart” is in the city of Portimão and decentralizes its activities throughout the 16 districts of the Algarve. The next edition will take place enters 30 of April and 09 of May | 2010.
