He is considered of best soccer player of all time by fans, soccer experts, critics and players. His contribution in local clubs, international clubs and national soccer team is indispensable. At just 16 years, Maradona was able to score more than 100 goals for Argentinos Juniors. He was on a fascinating form and he was scoring for every club he played for. Upon joining Boca Juniors in 1981, he scored many goals and helped them win championship before joining Barcelona.

After transferring from Barcelona to Napoli, he really revolutionized soccer at Napoli. For example, Maradona led the club to win Serie A title in 1987. He was not just a player at Napoli, he inspired other players and scored best goal of all time. This was one of the great moment for south Italy clubs and Napoli to be specific because Serie A was dominated by north Italy clubs such as Juventus and AC Milan. His presence in Napoli ushered in an era unprecedented success, apart from 1987 win, Maradona helped Napoli to win 1987 Copa Italia, 1989 UEFA cup and 1990 Serie A title.

He was very important to Argentina national team, though he did not play world cup in 1978, he inspired players to win World Youth-Championship in Japan in 1979.

He also scored classic goals against Hungary in 1982 World Cup.

His career brightened in 1986 when he captained Argentina in their quest for world cup. Indeed, he scored twice against England, the first was the famous Hand of God, as he punched ball over England’s goal keeper Peter Shilton. The second goal he dribbled ball against England’s defense and rounded goalkeeper. He helped Argentina win against Italy and proceed to the finals where they beat West Germany 3-2.

Maradona is famous for dribbling ability, close ball control and more his accurate and precise passing ability. He would also withstand physical pressure. He was a team player and he inspired other players. He could score and gave many assists.
